Misty Copeland
The final set up came together beautifully during the photoshoot for Vanity Fair Magazine featuring the talented ballerina from American Ballet Theater. I had a clear vision in mind and knew I wanted to capture some film during this one of a kind shoot, so I eagerly reached for my trusty Hasselblad camera, which was loaded with grainy black and white Ilford film. After just one roll of film, I had a feeling that I had created a classic sequence showcasing her elegant movements as she danced in a fabulous Saint Laurent dress that flowed and flew up perfectly with every graceful motion.
