Mira Nadon
Mira is truly a one-of-a-kind dancer and an exceptional talent in the world of ballet. She radiates an undeniable energy and passion from the stage that captivates everyone in the audience. It’s no surprise that she rose quickly through the ranks at New York City Ballet; her dedication and skill are evident. Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to spend some time with her in New York, capturing a series of black and white portraits after one of her intensive rehearsals. For me, taking pictures of dancers or athletes right after they have worked out or performed allows me to capture a raw, unedited version of the subject. This approach brings a beautifully unrefined quality to the images, which I truly love and appreciate.
