Mounting & Framing

Mounting
Archival Art Mounting is a process where your artwork is fixed to a substrate (backing) using a dry, non-corrosive sheet of glue. It results in the print sitting flat in the frame.

Dibond is a good option for mounting which is a brand of aluminum composite material (ACM) that's made of two thin aluminum sheets bonded together with a polyethylene core.
There are a few other options based on your budget.

Framing
We prefer the work to be box framed in light or dark wood or white with a spacer (see diagram on right).
Museum non reflective glass is preferred.
3/4 inch front profile, 1/2 inch spacer inside in black (dark wood frame) or white (light wood or white frame) 2 inch side profile.

We can guide you on the best framing options for your print.

Mounting and framing is not included. Please contact us if framing is needed.
