The storm raged outside as I stepped out of my car, feeling the heavy humidity in the air. The glow of the gas station lights created a surreal atmosphere, illuminating the trucks like giant metallic beasts waiting in the shadows. Each truck, with its distinct shape and character, told a story of journeys long and short, of drivers who braved the elements for their livelihood.
I took a moment to capture the scene, knowing this juxtaposition of mechanical and natural beauty would resonate with my series theme of resilience. The sky shifted from pink to deep purple, while distant thunder rumbled like a heartbeat.
