Mossy Mountains
Iceland is a truly extraordinary country that feels almost otherworldly in its charm and allure. Nothing can quite compare to the surreal and breathtaking beauty of the diverse landscapes found there. In the early morning, a gentle mist was just clearing above the enchanting moss-covered mountains, revealing their stunning contours. The vibrant colors looked almost fluorescent as they emerged from the shroud of fog, creating a scene that felt almost magical. During my journey through this captivating country one night, as we were driving back late, my attention was suddenly drawn to some flickers dancing in the sky. We decided to get out of the van, and there it was — the magnificent aurora borealis illuminating the heavens, swirling and dancing playfully for us as we stood there, utterly captivated in awe of nature’s incredible display.
