Mexico City
Series: Obscure
Obscure is s continuation of an ongoing series featuring cities around the world that are completely blurred through the lens of my camera. I first started developing this unique concept in the vibrant and bustling metropolis of Tokyo, and since then, I continue to add more locations in the same distinctive style. When seen in large scale, the prints transform into abstract illusions of the various places, and depending on how close you stand to the artwork, they either focus or remain unfocused, creating a dynamic visual experience. The theme of the city has been an ongoing motif in my work ever since my art foundation course at Norwich University in the UK.
